About Us

Mid-America Gastro-Intestinal Consultants is a practice of four physicians and one nurse practitioner committed to providing the highest quality of patient care for our community since 1984. Our providers offer comprehensive healthcare for all G.I. tract related diseases. All physicians are board certified in Gastroenterology and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, liver, gallbladder and biliary system.

We currently have two office locations, one on the plaza and one in the northland. The physicians have staff privileges at St. Luke’s Hospital – Plaza, St. Luke’s Northland Hospital, St. Luke’s South Hospital and Wright Memorial Hospital. We participate with most major insurance companies and will be happy to assist you with any questions you might have.

We have our own endoscopy center, G. I. Diagnostics, Inc. (G.I.D.) adjacent to the Plaza office to accommodate most endoscopic procedures needed by our patients. G.I.D. was established in 1991 and is a state licensed, Medicare certified facility and certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
