Dr. McCullough received his undergraduate degree with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude honors from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and a medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee in 1984.
He completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1987, a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota 1990.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the ABIM subspecialty of gastroenterology, the states Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, and Texas and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr McCullough has two sons and enjoys running marathons and gardening.
After 31 years practice, Dr. McCullough is retiring from MAGIC December 31, 2020 and is no longer accepting new patients.
