Meet Our Physicians

Perry J. Culver, M.D.

Dr. Culver received an undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1972, and a medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1981.

He completed an internship and residency at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts in 1984 and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Beth Israel Hospital in 1986. Dr. Culver served as a clinical fellow in medicine at Harvard Medical School from 1981 to 1986, and has been a member of the teaching staff at St. Luke’s Hospital since 1986.

The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the ABIM subspecialty of Gastroenterology, the state of Kansas and Missouri, and the National Board of Medical Examiners certify Dr. Culver.

Dr. Culver is currently an assistant clinical professor at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. He has published abstracts and articles on several gastroenterological subjects, and has a special interest in gastrointestinal motility.

Dr. Culver is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys gardening and bee keeping.
